With cutting-edge hub-and-spoke technology and a new 40mm rim profile, this
is the lightest WheelSystem ever created by CADEX. Super Aero bladed carbon spokes are seamlessly integrated with thin aero hub flanges to reduce weight and drag, while Dynamic Balanced Lacing technology sets the spokes at a wider bracing angle to stabilize tension under force and boost power transfer. The 40mm deep carbon rims help keep overall weight at just 1249 grams, and a broad 22.4mm hookless inner rim width offers better tire sidewall support and improved control.

CADEX Super Aero Carbon Spokes

Ultra-lightweight high tensile-strength CADEX aero carbon spokes minimize lateral flex for more efficient acceleration and climbing and feature a purpose designed aero shape offering class-leading aerodynamic characteristics as well as superior stability in shifting winds.

CADEX Ceramic Bearings

Durable, ultra-hard ceramic bearings further increase hub rolling efficiency with lower rolling resistance and 1.5x smoother action than steel bearings.

Hookless Rim Design

Provides the best flow transition from the tyre to the sidewall of the rim, resulting in reduced aerodynamic loss when compared to standard hook bead rims, and featuring a continuous carbon fibre structure enhancing overall durability.

Precision Reinforced Lay-Up

High-tensile strength carbon fibre and high Tg resin is reinforced at the most crucial points for industry-leading stiffness, ride compliance and strength with no unnecessary weight.

Custom-Tuned DBL Technology

Dynamic Balanced Lacing ensures spokes are set for optimal tension when under dynamic pedalling force versus when static, resulting in superior transmission stiffness and efficiency.


CADEX R3-C48 Aero Hub

Precision machined 48 tooth ratchet hub with CADEX Ratchet Wave Spring offers ultra-fast engagement, reduces aerodynamic loss and virtually eliminates bearing load as ultra-smooth, low-rolling resistance CADEX ceramic bearings further reduce watt loss.

Integrated Hub Design

One-piece aero hub and spoke design, where CADEX Super Aero Carbon Spokes are seamlessly bonded straight into the aero hub flange, forming a one-piece structure with the hub. This integrated configuration hides the nipples into the rim, while ensuring independent tension tuneability.

In-mold Carbon Surface Graphic Technology

Advanced carbon molding technology allows fine rim surface finishing treatment directly within the mold, elminating the need for additional carbon treatment or decals.
