The Xpresso pedal line boasts the fastest engagement time of any pedal, anywhere. The Xpresso pedal rests in an open position, so you don't have to overcome any spring tension to open the pedal and lock your cleat in. When you twist your foot to click out, the engagement mechanism stays open until you step back in—effortlessly. Don't forget about Time's Sensor adjustment, which sets their pedals apart from all others. Sensor allows you to change release tension without affecting float. This creates a very confidence-inspiring interface between pedal and rider without sacrificing a bit of comfort. Adjustability features also include the ability to alter your Q-factor by 2.5 millimeters by swapping cleats from right to left.
Using a carbon leaf spring instead of a coiled steel spring most pedals use, the Xpresso 8 Pro builds upon the Time iClic platform to provide more surface area—700 square millimeters—while cutting weight. It's composite body and carbon leaf spring rotate around a hollow steel axle, with no rider weight limit.
