Winter is the perfect time to increase your power so you can blitz the bike course in 2017. And nothing gives you a better return than power based turbo sessions. Our Base2Race sessions are personalised to each athlete and are hugely popular with elites and age groupers alike. And now you can get all the benefits of these sessions at home.
To start, you will need a power meter (if you don't have one, you can check
out our range (http://shop.base2race.ie/collections/power-meters) and a turbo trainer. * a heart rate monitor is optional but very helpful.
We will create customised power meter sessions, calculated using your own Functional Threshold Power (FTP). The sessions come as an 6 week block and are designed to be progressive; effectively and efficiently building your power and performance.
You will receive 1 personalised session a week over 6 weeks, after which time your FTP numbers will be measured again to calculate your next block.
Whether you are a short distance athlete, training for Ironman or bike racing, these sessions will be the cornerstone to your bike training plan.
A block of 6 sessions cost €60 and on sign up you will be sent a
questionnaire and instructions on measuring FTP.
