Matteo Cigala is an ex Italian U23 continental cyclist, turned cycling coach, training camp organizer and a university student.
He started racing at 6 years of age. The highlights of his career are the participation in different international races as a team cyclist in the Italian National team and competing in the World Championship 2011 Juniors in Copenhagen, the Paris-Roubaix 2011 Juniors in France, the Trofeo Karlsberg 2011 Juniors in Germany and the Course de la Paix 2011 Juniors where he was able to arrive on the podium in the fifth stage.
Other great results are the victory of the last stage of the Giro della Lunigiana 2010, the first position at the Gp Eco di Bergamo and the multi times Lombardia Regional Champion.
Matteo Cigala now is based in Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland.
With 15 years experience in cycling, hundreds of victories in his name and a Diploma in Science and Sport, he provides personal and group cycling coaching and training camps in Italy.
